Amelia has been the office manager for Countywide Realty since it opened in 1985. She is a licensed Broker. Amelia graduated from Lockhart High School in 1974 and from Texas State University with a B.S. in Medical Technology in 1979. She attended real estate school in 1985 and got her salesman's license in 1985. In that year, she and Jim opened Countywide Realty as a sister company to Countywide Builders. Countywide Realty has expanded twice in almost twen- ty-five years and has stayed independent. Amelia is a HUD approved Broker, and has served in the past as President, Vice-President, and Secretary for the Caldwell County Board of Realtors. She is a"short-sale" realtor and has served as director for the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce twice for three years terms. She works in residential, farm and ranch, and commercial sales. She is the Chairman of the Board of First-Lockhart National Bank. Amelia won Lockhart Post Register's Realtor of the year in 2009 Countywide Realty won the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce Business of the year in 2008 with Countywide Builders. Amelia has been married to Jim for thirty years and they have two children: Winn Smith of Austin, Texas and Lee Katherine Smith of Carrboro, North Carolina.

Jim first obtained his license to sell real estate in 1974. He obtained is Broker's license shortly after that. Jim joined his parents in the building business with Countywide Builder's after graduation from Davidson College in North Carolina in 1971. Until recently, Countywide Builders operated from a separate office/warehouse in Lockhart; in 2008, the offices of Countywide Builders and Countywide Realty consolidated at the current location of 300 S. Commerce; a building Jim renovated in 2004. Through the building office, Jim has built many residential properties over the years in the Lockhart area, and in past years, begun to focus more on commercial and senior's projects as well as renovations of older buildings in the Lockhart Area. He has completed some developmental projects as well. Jim served as President of the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce in 1987 and has served on the Construction/Development Board with the City of Lockhart in the past. Countywide Builders won Lockhart Post Register's Best Commercial Builder in 2009 and has won some similar awards in prior years. Countywide Builders, along with Countywide Realty, won Lockhart Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year in 2008. Jim and wife, Amelia, have two children, Winn Smith of Austin, TX and Lee Katherine Smith of Carrboro, North Carolina.

Irene is a life-long resident of Lockhart. Her success in real estate spans a number of years in dedication and record sales. She was first licensed in 1984 and worked for a number of years for other companies as a million-dollar producer before coming to Countywide Realty in 1991; eighteen years ago! She's been a million dollar producer year after year at Countywide. In 1987, Irene was Caldwell County Board of Realtors President; in 1990 and 1991 she was the Board secretary/treasurer. Irene was named Hispanic Businesswoman of the Year in 1992. She is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors. Irene prefers residential real estate as a specialty. She is fluent in Spanish and is extremely knowledgeable in residential finance to include FHA, VA, USDA, and con- ventional. In 2006, Irene was awarded Mastery of Rural Development/Lending Terms and Conditions. Irene strives to coordinate her schedule with those of other hardworking people. She works endlessly for hours to find the right property for buyers and her dedica- tion to hard work is unsurpassed in the local market. Irene currently serves on the City of Lockhart Economic Development Committee and the Caldwell County Development Corporation Board. She is a member of Saint Mary of the Visitation and active in various organizations in the church. Irene lives in Lockhart with husband, Guadalupe. Her son Brian and his wife, Mandy, have three children; Katelyn, Ryan, and Marisol.

Floyd, (Tinker) began his Real Estate career in 1987 and moved to Countywide Realty in 1996 when it was still located in the old Meridian building on Highway 183. Floyd holds the record at Countywide for the largest farm/ranch property ever sold. Floyd specializes in farm and ranch properties, but also enjoys residential work. He has a very loyal following of cus- tomers and clients.
Floyd has lived all his life in Lockhart. He graduated from Lockhart High School and attended Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. Floyd also works tirelessly in the family business, Chisholm Trail BBQ. Many a Lockhart resident buys BBQ and their first home or some land from Tinker!    Floyd has two children; Chris Wilhelm who recently graduated from Texas A&M University and daughter, Sara Wilhelm who recently graduated from Texas State University. When Floyd is not selling something, he enjoys hunting, cattle, and the great outdoors.

Brenda obtained her real estate license from the American College of Real Estate in 1995.    She joined the Countywide Team fourteen years ago as a full time agent specializing in Residential, Farm & Ranch, and Commercial Sales, as well as property management and leasing.    Brenda was instrumental in the property acquisitions for the current HEB after the old store burned in 1996; working directly with the San Antonio HEB commercial acquisition team.    Brenda's seller and buyer client base has rapidly grown over her career and she has steadily added property management accounts to expand her business . Brenda is a HUD approved agent, has experience in short-sales, and prides herself on each and every detail of a transaction whether working with the seller or the buyer. She is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors. Brenda currently serves on the City's Planning and Zoning Commission, the Board of Directors for The Meadows at Clearfork HOA, and spends many hours with PTO and fundraisers for Hope Christian Academy in Martindale. She is also an active member at First Lockhart Baptist Church. Her interests include gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Brenda is a lifetime resident of Caldwell County, and currently resides in Lockhart with husband Cody, and five year old son, Brayden.

Sandy Kosarek has been a resident of Caldwell County since 1973. She graduated from Austin Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing and received her license as a registered Nurse. Her nursing career was centered in Caldwell County because she wanted to work in the area she called home. In 2000, Sandy received her Real Estate license from the Austin Institute of Real Estate and has been with Countywide Realty for nine years working in residen- tial, commercial, farm and ranch, and property management. During her real estate career, Sandy has also invested in real estate and strives to provide affordable, quality properties to her tenants as a landlord. Sandy will be the first to walk 100 acres with you! She loves Caldwell County, loves horses, and loves people. Her interests include barrel racing and teaching young kids horsemanship skills. The kids participate in the Lil' Buckaroo Rodeo Association. She is a member of the Lockhart Assembly of God. Sandy lives on a cattle ranch in Caldwell County.

Mike has been the secretary/assistant with Countywide Realty for over ten years after moving from the staff of the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce. His interests and academic training include geography, geology, cartography, photography, and demography with studies leading to a BA at the University of Texas at Austin and towards the Master of Applied Geography at Texas State University. Mike has done volunteer work with the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, local theatre groups, and the Friends of the Library. He lives in Lockhart with wife, Beverly Annas, who teaches at Navarro Elementary School.
